Beginning and an End.

Happy new year!
Let the "New Year, New Me" posts flood in.

The first few days of 2018, I've basically been trying to carry myself out of the current, and find a stable place where I can breathe and just be.

2017, was probably one of the most hectic years yet.
I was job-hunting, graduated university, started a new job, left a new job, lost a dear family member and simultaneously gained new family as well. There was so much going on around me, I never had the time to stop and just feel what I was supposed to.
Now, it's 2018 and  I have 4 months until I embark on my next career and that means I will be away from any kind of duty or problem for 4 whole months.
So far, I've been loving the freedom and the free mind that I have.
Sometimes I would catch myself completely absentminded and just listening to music, staring at a random person, or just doing nothing. Best part is, there is not an inch of guilt in my single body.
I used to be the kind of person who would go insane if I didn't have a list of tasks to complete that day, but now, I'm thinking I could get used to it and maybe even return to this kind of slow pace lifestyle after maybe 10 years of working at a corporate.

Next week, a bit more will be happening as I will be traveling to Paris, Lille, and London for the next two weeks by myself.
Very excited.

In the mean time, here are a couple of shots from my last trip to Fukuoka the beginning of this month.

Taken at Yanagawa, Fukuoka

These three photos were taken at "Maruboshi Ramen" an old ramen place in Kurume, Fukuoka. It's situated in front of the National Route 2 that leads from Fukuoka to Kagoshima. Drivers would rest at this Ramen place and fill up their empty stomachs from driving a long way.

playing around at Ohori Park.
